Special Session: The Future of Housing: Local governments for the right to adequate housing

The Declaration of Cities for Housing was presented at the United Nations in July 2018. One year and a half later, over 40 worldwide local and regional governments have committed and joined the Declaration. The Special Session will assess progresses made in the implementation of the right to housing in the territories all over the world, and will discuss the way forward along with the UN Special Rapporteur.
